Gina Braham is co-director of a student-led nonprofit, Powerhouse NYC, a social entrepreneurial organization working to provide supportive housing and job training to young mothers in NYC. Powerhouse runs a childcare business, Project Playdate, that serves as a job training program, savings program for the young mothers and as a revenue stream to fund Powerhouse. Powerhouse was a finalist in the Harvard Business for Good Competition and is a semifinalist in the Stern Social Venture Competition.
